Following our best ever mega-quiz evening at the King’s Hall last Friday, the Pier Trust is providing a free film showing on the pier after dusk on July 21st of Grease.
We are planning to include food, drinks and maybe also – displays of American cars, music and dancing – all in keeping with the atmosphere of the film. Entry will be free for everyone – please note the first 500 to arrive on the night will get the best view but anyone else happy to accept restricted view of the film is welcome to join in the fun. Just bring your own seat, blanket or cushions – or hire a seat on the pier for £1. We leave it up to you whether to bring your umbrellas after our experience of the English weather at the opening.
Posters will be going up all over the town as reminders of the times and film so come on pier supporters – let’s show Herne Bay needs its pier.
